What is an Autism Family Consultant?
Every autism family is as unique as, every individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder. An Autism Family Consultant provides individualized, tailored support and services to all members within the family. The consultant will assist the family unit with understanding autism, advocacy skills, and service selection as well as be a support system to the parents and/or caregivers. The ultimate goal of the Autism Family Consultant is to help families acquire the tools needed to help their loved one live the quality of life they deserve.
